Our heart’s voice is communication from our soul, that guides our path of development as we ascend and move into our higher potential. Our heart is the wellspring of our love energy that nurtures all relationships – with ourself, and all beings. It is the center of magic within us where we can tap into our healing power and inner wisdom.
Stop and listen to your heart’s voice in this moment. What message do you hear? What is your heart’s desire? How can you expand on this message from your heart and express it creatively? Imagine an image or color represents your heart’s message. What does it look like? Can you manifest this in a painting, writing, music, drawing, mandala, or vision board?
Paul the Venetian

Your soul’s desires are like colors on an artist’s palette that you create a vision with on your soul’s path. It is important to allow your soul’s desires to be expressed through the voice of your heart. Look at the colors you immediately gravitate to as they are very indicative of your soul’s path. Incorporate these soul colors often in your life and use them purposefully. When they are combined with intention, they will add energy to manifesting your creations.
Art is a soulful expression from the heart. This expression includes the wisdom of the heart and that which is aesthetically pleasing to the soul. Your unique desires are expressed through the currents of your emotions, and find structure within your thoughts. For further artistic development of your heart’s expression, you can call upon Paul the Venetian for guidance. Now it is time to listen to your heart. Get comfortable and settle into stillness for the following meditation. Allow your imagination to assist you.
Heart Expression Meditation
Listen to your heart right now for what first appears to you as a passionate desire bubbling up for expression. Sometimes our passions are suppressed, so give yourself time to allow your passions to bubble up to the surface. Choose the first passion that comes to mind. Immediately describe this passion. Let this desire now take a symbolic form, or create an image that represents this desire. What are your feelings about this image? What colors express this image? Explore deep within your heart to discover more details about this passionate idea. Do your feelings about this idea bring to mind certain sounds, textures, words, or symbols? How does your soul connect with this image of your heart’s desire? Explore this desire in greater detail. Is it related to past lives in any way? Is there an element of nature that correlates to this image of your desire? What medium expresses this idea best? Follow the process of exploring from within the heart to outward expression.
Form a plan on how you would go about expressing this desire in artistic form. Would it best be expressed in a colorful painting, black and white sketch, carved in stone, written, or spoken in words, expressed in dance or movement in space, music, or some other form? Allow yourself time to explore and visualize your desire as a completed artistic creation.
