The subject of Sovereignty seems to be an important one these days – the right and ability of being able to make our own choices. Discovering your sovereignty carries importance for assessing your inner power. Individual sovereignty means that each person possesses exclusive control over their own body and personal decisions, holding an inherent right to bodily integrity and autonomy. This includes the authority to make choices about one’s life, labor, and actions, and the right to benefit from the results of those actions, such as property or personal achievements. In philosophical and political contexts, sovereignty emphasizes that no external entity – government, other individuals, or institutions – has legitimate authority over an individual’s personal decisions without consent. Those of us living in the United States have learned from our childhood that our country was founded on these rights of liberty.
During this time of major change, transformation, confusion, scams galore, virtual reality, and misinformation, we are finding ourselves in a time when our sovereignty is being challenged and it is even more difficult to discern truth from fiction. So, I wanted to take a look at what might help us with our own sovereignty. I have created a Council of Discernment, which you will find in another article and YouTube video. For this article, I wanted to take a look at what our inner power is based on, and how we can discover and strengthen our own sovereignty.
The chakra that really powers this is our Solar Plexus chakra – our inner sun and power center. The power that we give ourselves is seen in our self-image, and is based on our values, beliefs, self-respect, self-confidence, inner wisdom, trust and faith in ourself and our abilities, and the clarity of our unique truth and authenticity. In order to have sovereign choice, we need to be free of suppression, coercion, and manipulation, and sometimes just get out of our own way. What tests our sovereignty is external authority that may be our parents, family, tribe, community, civilization, government, church, or any other structured authority system. Our sovereignty can also be diminished by our own lack of perception of ourselves and how we fit into our world. We can learn a great deal, grow, and expand our awareness with the influences from external forces, but they can also silence our own authority and devalue our contribution to the world as we lose our own unique power to be ourselves, to create, and radiate our gifts. So, it is a balance of power between your inner sense of power and authority, and the forces of external authorities.
Learning about our inner power begins in our childhood, when we are subject to the guidance of our parents, relatives, and teachers that we relate to as figures of authority and wisdom. If people in authority used their dominant positions to force you into habitual patterns that take your personal power away from you, the chakra can become blocked. Often if one rebels, they are faced with criticism and punishment. They will feel shame for their lack of compliance. They then express the fiery emotions of anger, frustration, fear of failure, and shame. All of these emotions block one’s belief in themselves, prohibiting their self-confidence, self-esteem, and self-worth. There needs to be a balance between being open to the wisdom of others, while still honoring one’s own inner voice and power to create their lives.
What I think will first help us is to get a clearer picture of our own authenticity, and to clear away the perceptions of others so that we have our own clear understanding of ourselves.
Two great guides who can help us are Archangel Michael and his twin flame, Archeia Mikaela – Lady Faith. They work with the first divine ray – the Blue Ray of Power and assist humanity with releasing anything that is not truth or love. They can bring healing and transformation into your life filling it with forgiveness, love, joy, faith, and peace. Archangel Michael uses his blue flaming sword to cut the bonds of misperception that limit your realization of your full divine potential. He helps guard the divine spark within you. He can bring you protection from lower energies of thought or negative astral energies wishing to rule you, by covering you with his blue cloak or with the powerful light of his sword. You can use his sword to cut cords of negativity from you and clear away anything that prevents you from seeing your truth, and your authentic self, by releasing all that creates misperception, and any negative emotions and thoughts that cloud your understanding so that you can move into your higher potential.
Archeia Mikaela holds the pure light of Source and believes in the rightness, and purity that exists at the heart of all things. She helps to bring you faith in yourself and your mission, strength, and power, and the assurance that you are safe and loved. They both help you to connect to your divinity and soul purpose by activating your divine strength and potential.
Here is a short meditation – Archangels Michael and Faith’s “Temple of the Sacred Blue Flame” that will first help clear us of anything that is hindering our understanding of our authentic self.

Temple of the Sacred Blue Flame Meditation
Close your eyes now and allow yourself to relax and breathe deeply. With each breath your muscles release more tension, and you shift into a state of peaceful stillness. Imagine that you are on a journey to a place known as the Temple of the Sacred Blue Flame. You are now strolling through a green meadow feeling the warmth of the sunlight soothe and relax you on this sunny day. You see ahead of you stone steps that lead to an elegant temple that rests on a gentle hill. This is the temple you have been seeking. Its classic architecture consists of towering white marble columns supporting a domed roof. You ascend the white stone steps and enter the temple.
As you step inside the temple you discover a tall flickering blue flame nearly reaching the ceiling of the dome and the figures of two Archangels are tending to the flame. They look up to greet you and the male archangel introduces himself as Archangel Michael, and his twin flame, Archeia Mikaela – Lady Faith who is standing beside him. They invite you to come closer to the flame. You step closer cautiously, and gaze into the beautiful flickering flame with its glowing shades of blue and white.
Archangel Michael tells you that this is the first divine ray – the Sacred Blue Flame of Power. This ray empowers and strengthens you and provides protection. It enhances faith, protection, and clears your energy field by removing anything that prevents you from manifesting your higher potential. It supports the proper use of power, brings purification, and enhances inner strength and will. It helps you to align your will with the Divine Will and Divine Plan. In this way, you align your soul mission with the greater Divine Plan of evolution. This ray gives you the strength to stand in your truth and the will to be your authentic self. It is a light that supports the divine being of self and to take decisive action according to your truth. It protects your divine spark and helps you activate your mission.
Archeia Mikaela tells you that her feminine aspect of this flame holds the steady flame of Faith and belief in yourself and your divine worth that empowers you. Whenever you feel you are losing faith, she will assist your recovery with the Blue Flame. Michael’s masculine aspect helps you to activate your mission and bring you protection on your journey by clearing away anything that prevents you from moving into your higher potential. You feel these two archangels are giving you support that comes from great love and understanding of inner power.
Mikaela asks you to reflect on the faith in yourself and the beliefs you hold of your truth. Are there any old beliefs that have come from authority figures that may or may not reflect your truth? Imagine what these outer forces of power look like surrounding you. Now imagine what the power of your inner authority looks like as it radiates out from you. See the force of external wisdom moving towards you, and your internal wisdom radiating out from you to meet that force. How strong is your faith in your wisdom and abilities? Are you in balance from growing from the wisdom outside yourself, and also honoring your own wisdom and ability to fashion your life? Does wisdom outside of you overshadow your own wisdom? Does your own inner wisdom overpower any new external ideas reflecting your truth, causing you to be closed-minded?
Michael asks you to look within yourself and notice any old beliefs, expectations, emotions, or patterns that may no longer reflect who you are today. He does not tell you what you must release. Instead, he invites you to look at these things with the clear light of your own awareness.
Ask yourself: What belongs to me, and what have I accepted from others? Which beliefs still reflect my truth, and which were formed from the expectations, fears, judgments, or authority of others? Is there anything I am ready to release because I now recognize that it no longer serves the person I am becoming?
You do not need to reject the wisdom of others simply because it came from outside yourself. Honor what has taught you, helped you, and contributed to your growth. You are simply reclaiming your authority to decide what remains a part of you. Allow your own inner wisdom to make that choice.
Michael and Mikaela both step back from the flame as the blue flame expands. You are amazed that you sense a coolness about the flame instead of great heat. Michael gestures for you to step into the flame when you are ready to transform and enhance your inner power.
When you are ready, you step into the Sacred Blue Flame and place whatever you have chosen to release into its light. You are not giving your power to the flame or to the Archangels. You are consciously choosing to release what no longer belongs in your path. Michael offers you his blue sword as a symbol of your own strength and discernment. Use it when you need to cut the cords of old beliefs, emotions, expectations, or attachments that you have consciously chosen to leave behind to enlighten yourself by reclaiming your personal power and clarity of your truth. Be strong in trusting yourself, allowing your inner wisdom to grant you authority, honoring your spirit, believing in your own power of worth, and strengthening your energy field. Let your inner fire, faith, balance and empower you – and light your path.
As you stand in the center of the flame, you are aware of impurities dissolving with you. You sense old beliefs and patterns are burning away to free you for new opportunities. You are feeling the light of the flame bringing you greater clarity – the light of your truth is burning more brightly within you. You are feeling more balanced emotionally and mentally with the extra weight of old energy released. You feel the flickering flame is re-energizing you by enhancing your own divine spark. You feel at one, and as eternal as the flame with unlimited abilities. You sense you are shifting into harmony with all things. You feel the comforting warmth of Divine Love surrounding you. Your inner light is nurtured and shines more brightly radiating your worth and uniqueness. The flame fortifies you, and you feel healthy, strong, and capable of taking action that is needed in your life. The illumination of the flame enlightens you with new ideas. The flame is a beacon of hope and faith., and you now accept the goodness life has to offer you. The flame lights the way on your life path where you can now take responsibility for your life wisely, relaxed and poised. As the flame merges and shimmers within you, your vision into inner realms becomes enhanced and clearer. The flame lifts you higher as you feel a powerful healing life-force energy surge through you. You gradually float down through the flame to the floor and step back out of the Sacred Blue Flame when you feel it is complete in its rejuvenation.
As the Sacred Blue Flame settles gently within you, notice the strength and clarity that remain. You have not become someone different. You have simply cleared away some of what prevented you from fully recognizing who you are. Feel your inner light shining from your Solar Plexus, your own inner sun and center of personal power. Feel the quiet strength of knowing that your life belongs to you. You can listen to the wisdom of others without surrendering your own wisdom. You can receive guidance without giving away your own authority. You can consider many perspectives while still choosing your own path.
Take a deep breath and feel yourself grounded in your own center. Your sovereignty does not require you to control others, prove yourself, or reject the world around you. It is the quiet knowing that you have the right and responsibility to make your own choices, honor your own truth, and take responsibility for the life you create.
You give thanks to Michael and Lady Faith who stand beside you, reminding you that strength and faith already live within you. Their light does not replace you own – it helps you recognize and strengthen it.
As you leave the Temple of the Sacred Blue Flame, carry that awareness with you. You can return here whenever you need to clear your perception, strengthen your faith in yourself, or reconnect with your inner authority. You walk back through the meadow knowing that your inner light is your own. You are free to listen. Free to question. Free to learn. Free to discern. And when the time comes to choose, you are free to choose from the truth of who you are. Take one final deep breath. Feel your feet upon the Earth. Feel your body, your heart, your mind, and your inner wisdom coming into balance. You are centered. You are clear. You are grounded in your own authority. You are sovereign.
