The winter season is the time of the year for resting and reflection. It is a great time to delve deep within and explore more of your inner skills, gifts, and what needs to be healed. When we take this time we discover what it is we want to grow and nurture in the Spring. The Earth takes this time for recuperation and deep inner movement that is preparation for the new beginnings of growth in the Spring. We take our cue from the Earth then, and move deep within ourselves.
I have found the crystal Nuummite is a great crystal for deep inner journeying. Below is some basic information on this crystal and a meditation that will help you in your own inner exploration. This crystal message can be found in my new card deck – Spirits of the Crystal Kingdom II
NUUMMITE – Stone of Deep Inner Journeying

Divine Rays: 4th White Ray of Purity
Identifying Description: Nuummite is a combination of Anthophyllite, a magnesium iron silicate, and Gedrite, a lithium-bearing amphibole. It is only found in Greenland and is very ancient, about three billion years old. It is charcoal grey to black with white sheen inclusions, like sparkling gifts awaiting in the darkness.

Give yourself a few moments to settle into stillness, quieting your mind and emotions, and deeply relaxing as you close your eyes.
When you open your eyes, you see before you a knight in armor who will guide and protect you as he leads you on a path that travels deep within your inner self. You follow him in darkness on a barely illumined path that is lit by a light shining down from a break in the trees, like moonlight, and tiny lights lying on the dark ground like small fairy lights or stars. He leads you down the dark path and you feel his strength and protection beside you. This is a necessary journey to discover what is hidden that needs to be healed, or revealed to you. A quest to discover your inner treasures. You follow behind him on the path moving deeper into the darkness within. You can feel the earth energy around you supporting your journey. Perhaps the stars on the ground are small nature spirits helping you to find your path. The knight stops when he has reached what he desires to reveal to you. It may be an aspect of you that needs healing, clearing, or awakened awareness or activated skills. Once you are consciously aware of what has been revealed and why, he will lovingly activate whatever healing, clearing, or activation is necessary to assist you. You can continue with him further on the path for more revelations, or just process all that has already been revealed.
