MERLIN – A Spirit Guide to Divine Magic
The Merlin – as in “The Merlin of Britian” is a title of lineage of spiritual masters, mystics, and healers that began in 753 BCE in England. The Merlin we are most familiar with from legend was born in 540 CE. This Merlin was known as Merlinus Ambrosius. As a Druid wizard his Welsh name was Myrrdin Emrys. He is known as a wizard – a master of inner alchemy and Earth magic, as well as a prophet, bard, teacher, and advisor. He is also a symbol of spiritual protection and guidance, strength, courage, and personal growth. He comes to those who have a sincere desire to learn spiritual secrets of alchemy, divine magic, and manifesting skills to use for the greater good. He bridges the natural world with the supernatural world.
As a magician and prophet in the legend of King Arthur, Merlin embodied wisdom, power, and the ability to foresee and influence future events. He is the archetypal guide who mentors a hero on their quest with his knowledge and magical abilities. He mastered the power and wisdom of become one with nature and symbolized the harmony of earth energies and forces within one’s soul to achieve inner freedom and a higher state of consciousness.
You can call on Merlin to help you to invoke your inner magic – your skills and abilities hidden latent within you. He adds the spark that ignites this magic and brings it to your attention and understanding. He works greatly with the natural world because its inherent strong magic usually awakens your own. Nature is a great ally. Exploring the world of the elementals will assist you in discovering your own abilities since you are a sum of elemental qualities. He is like a priest of nature, guiding the spirit of magical transformation. He is a past-life aspect of St. Germain, who is an ascended master of the Violet Flame of Freedom and Transformation.

Now is the time for you to discover more of your inner divine magic – your skills and the truth of who you are. Time for an imaginative journey.
Imagine that you are walking through an autumn forest alight in golds, oranges, and russet reds. A cool breeze rustles the leaves as a few leaves drift down like confetti at your feet. You see in the distance a figure approaching you in the woods. It is Merlin who has come to help you begin your explorations. He now stands before you holding a tall white staff that emits a golden light from its spiraled head that creates a pool of light that encompasses you.
The wise wizard speaks, “This golden light will assist you in clearing away any fear, confusion, or worry you possess about your development and transformation from your physical matter into higher consciousness. Step into its light – as the light of your Soul Star Chakra – that brings your inner awareness into alignment with your truth – the truth of your soul and higher consciousness. It cleanses darkness and shadows and brings healing and transformation to you. Believe in the magic within you, reconnect with your truth and allow it to shine forth before you – as above, so below.
Take a walk with me now to my cottage in the forest, I have a special book for you to see.”
You follow Merlin through the forest until you come to a cottage sheltered amongst the trees. The wooden abode has a thatched roof and is ornamented with carved animals and fairy folk, and is surrounded with a simple vegetable garden and wildflowers. Some of the building is covered in ivy, and presents itself as a cozy home, yet retaining much of a wild and magical nature about it. There is smoke curling up from the chimney, which promises a cozy warm fire to sit next to inside, as the air is becoming frostier with night fall. You follow him inside and he gestures to a seat next to the hearth. As you sit you gaze in awe at the many books and tomes stacked on crooked wooden shelves around the hearth. You wonder which book he will select.
Merlin, with a twinkle in his eye, says “You are a fellow wizard with your own book! We will examine your own magical Soul Book now. Simply follow my voice.
“Imagine that this book is appearing before you out of the air and is hovering before you. All I will tell you about this book is that it is your magical Soul Book. Take a moment to look at all the details of the outer appearance of this book and its vibrations.
I want you to place your intention now on opening the book to a descriptive page on your soul. You can intend to turn to a page presenting you information on your current soul mission, or with any other inquiry. Touch an edge of a page and then open the book to that page. What does this page look like – any ornamentation, colors, or symbols? Read with your inner vision the information on that page about your soul. A hologram or images may appear that metaphorically communicates the information. Read with your inner vision the information that answers your inquiry from your soul.
Then, place the intention that you will turn to another page that will list three immediate steps that you can take that will move you forward on the path of your soul purpose. Touch a page intuitively, and then open the book to that page. Again, what does this page look like? What information are you receiving? Know that you can ask for information concerning past lives, or for searching for past life skills that will assist you now, ask for healing information, and much more.
Take some time to reflect and remember all the information you have just received. I recommend you journal this information for your own records and self-exploration. Know that you can open your book and seek information at any time you choose and discover more of your inner divine magic. Your book is always with you.
