Wohpe is a Lakota Goddess of Peace whose name means “meteor”, and she is associated with falling stars, a sign that she has come to Earth as a guardian. She brought the peace pipe to the Lakotas to help bring them peace and divine wisdom, and to help the highest good of all. She was later associated with White Buffalo Calf Woman. A white buffalo that was born in 1994 was considered a sign of the coming of world peace.
