Prosperity seems to always be a subject of constant concern. What is the key to prosperity? Lakshmi has brought some insight into this question. She advises that the source of this abundance is found in our heart and its connection to the heart of the Earth which provides us the nurturing energy for our physical existence. It also has to do with our belief in our soul’s presence – our divine worth. It needs to thrive on positive thoughts that reflect the Light. Abundance is like golden love that showers us. It can be the abundance of health, wealth, love, joy, freedom, and success that flows into your life – not just money. LAKSHMI – Hindu Goddess of Abundance
Lakshmi is a goddess of love, good fortune, and prosperity. She assists you in understanding your own inner divinity and strength. It is the belief and confidence in your soul power that attracts abundance. She helps you connect to your heart and the heart of Earth to increase your sense of abundance and prosperity.
Reflection: Lakshmi has come to you now to help bring you a greater sense of abundance in your heart. Connect deeply to the heart of Mother Earth and allow her infinite nurturing energy to fountain upwards through your lower chakras – the Earth Star, Root, Sacral, and Solar Plexus chakras – into your heart where it fountains a continual flow of abundance. You keep this flow freely moving by loving, giving, and sharing with others which keeps the flow from blocking. Gratitude and compassion flow with ease and nurturing energy flow between your heart and the heart of Mother Earth.

MEDITATION: Receiving Prosperity
Lakshmi stands before you in an emerald green sari trimmed in gold, beautiful and shimmering in her golden aspect. She asks you to follow her and she leads you down a sunny path that winds between three white marble cascading fountains. Past the fountains you come to three broad white marble steps that bring you to the entrance of a golden temple. You step into the cool shade of the temple and proceed to the center of the temple where you see an opening in the ceiling that allows a column of sunlight to illuminate the interior. You see glimmers of gold dust in the air within the sunlight. Lakshmi indicates the floor beneath the beams of sunlight and you realize there is a platform there. Lakshmi gestures for you to step onto the platform with her. The platform starts to raise you up through the opening in the ceiling and you realize there is a higher floor above with an opening in its ceiling that the sunlight is still beaming through. The platform stops moving and Lakshmi leads you onto this level. You see grand tables with bowls of fruit, large urns of golden coins, and a fountain in each corner of the spacious room. All seems to be gleaming in a golden mist of sparkling light.
You notice that there is a larger fountain near the center of the room that is fountaining the golden sparkles into the air. You walk towards the fountain mesmerized and feeling joyfully giddy. As you stand before the fountain a beam of golden-white light shines down on you. You feel its light infuse your heart creating a warm glow there. Lakshmi asks you to raise your palms up and she showers a cascade of golden glitter-like energy that fills up your palms. The energy is absorbed into your body as your palms continue to fill, until you radiate golden light. The golden light seems to merge and activate your own inner divine light. There is something magical that happens here. A realization – a perception that your own inner goodness and worth radiate with the same sense of abundance that seems limitless in this room. Lakshmi has only magnified your own ability to radiate your golden worth and magnetize prosperity and abundance into your life. The fountain of goodness in your heart merges with the fountain of abundance in the world. You feel you are radiating a golden glow that brings you a greater sense of confidence in your ability to magnetize abundance and prosperity into your life. You bask in this golden glow for a few moments, and when you feel complete, you thank Lakshmi for her guidance, and retrace your steps back to your present state of awareness.
