I asked my guides to bring us a meditation that would help us connect to hope and joy, as we traverse through the chaos and transformation around us. We all need some uplifting inspiration about now! Hope and Joy are like lifelines that will lift us up out of the quagmire and give us a perspective of the bigger picture, and the motivation to get to that better place on the horizon. Joy is the highest expression of our heart. It’s bubbling, effervescent nature literally uplifts us and is the fuel for moving into our higher potential on our path of ascension. I realized that hope is also connected to faith. Both serve as pillars of strength during adversity. Faith is the groundwork for hope, which produces joy.
- Faith is our unwavering belief in something greater than ourselves, while hope is the anticipated outcome that faith inspires.
- Faith is characterized by certainty and trust, while hope is characterized by perception and possibility.

The spirit guide that stepped forward in answer to my question was Archangel Haniel. His twin flame and feminine aspect is Maryllisa – Lady Radiance. He offered a wonderful meditation that not only brought joy into the heart with its uplifting qualities, but also brought higher perspectives of any troubling issues you may be having, with new solutions and ideas that contribute to greater understanding of the situation and yourself. Archangel Haniel and his twin flame – Maryllisa – Lady Radiance, are Archangels of Joy. They originally came from Venus and accompanied Sanat and Venus Kumara when they came to Earth. Both archangels have a gentle, calm, serene energy, which reflects the full moon. The moon shines its divine light into the darkness to show you the way. They shine divine light into your heart to reveal your inner goodness. They encourage you to release illusions and any negativity so that you may shine the light of your true self. Archangel Haniel once incarnated as the Aztec ruler, Quetzalcoatl, and also as one of Buddha’s first pupils. He works closely with Sanat Kumara, the Mahachohan, Hilarion, Archangels Uriel and Metatron. He helps you to use star energies, especially when charging healing remedies or crystals. He also works with the White Ray of Purity, and the Green Ray of Truth, Healing and Science. He helps to bring out your inner goodness and beauty, bubbling it up from the heart, like joy. He encourages new ways of thinking, to move beyond illusions, to see the greater possibilities. This guidance helps you to recognize and identify feelings and patterns of behavior more clearly, so that you can know your truth and stand up for it. He helps you to live in the present without wasting time and energy over the past, or worrying about the future. Living in the present helps you to flow through life, with faith, trust, and joy. He strengthens your perception of your true Light, your talents, and higher abilities, so that you can value yourself and have the courage to walk your path in the light of Truth.
Archeia Maryllisa – Lady Radiance, is the Light of the star of Venus. She helps you to discover the inner beauty of your soul in your heart. Your inner beauty will grow brighter as you become more loving, compassionate, and generous. As with the saying “Don’t judge a book by its cover” – outer beauty is not as important as inner beauty.

Meditation: The Palace Garden’s Sparkling Perspective
You are walking on a path that winds through a lush garden of roses of all colors. The flowers nod their heads to you as you pass and send you uplifting energy that makes you smile in their presence. You see a grand tiered fountain is ahead on the path and you pause to gaze at its sparkling water splashing from tier to tier. You listen to the bubbling sounds of the fountain and gaze into the glistening water as it catches the sunlight on its trickling journey. You feel a deep sense of relaxation and peace by the fountain. You stir yourself after a moment as you continue on the garden path and follow its winding course through beds of flowers and small fruit trees. You round a blind corner to see the path leads to a grand crystal palace and you pause in awe of it.
Intrigued, you follow the path that leads up stairs through the open doors to the palace. You find yourself in a luminous white marble hall with crystals hanging from the ceiling and sunlight pouring down onto the pristine floor from great apertures above. Sparkles seems to be suspended in the air from the crystals, like slow motion falling snow. These sparkles come from the rainbow prism light of the crystals and float gently down to the white marble floor and disappear. The sparkles bring a refreshing tingling sensation when they touch your skin. You gradually feel lighter and are levitating into the air. You float upwards and your movement stops just before you touch the crystal ceiling, suspending you in the air. Somewhat magically you realize that you not only have a higher perspective of the palace interior here, but that you also have a higher perspective of the future. What was worrying you or bringing you down before you walked the garden path and entered the crystal palace is bringing you a higher understanding and resolution to a troublesome situation.
You notice that angelic forms are present at this lofty height, and one in particular is moving towards you – Archangel Haniel. The Archangel tells you that angels work at this level to assist you in seeing what is weighing you down in life, your worries, problems, and disappointments, as they provide you greater understanding and new perspectives and paths to take to solve your issue. Visualize your problem before you and see the sparkles in the air uplift the situation, as they did with you. You watch the sparkling glitter of light surround and uplift the situation. You begin to feel confident hope, and joy in this sparkling world. You see a resolution to your problem that brings you joy and various new perspectives bringing new ideas. Your heart is light and free from any worries or concerns that weigh you down.
You remember this feeling of being uplifted in the air surrounded by beauty, sparkles, love, and joy. You place the intention to retain this lovely feeling as you settle to the floor. You retrace your steps out of the palace and down the garden path, past the joyous fountain and flowers and back to your present awareness retaining this new sparkling vision.
