Creating Forgiveness with Quan Yin

by Nancy Robbins

I asked my guides to bring me a meditation that would help us with the topic of forgiveness.  Quan Yin came forward with this profound meditation.  Hopefully the insights in this article will expand your understanding of forgiveness.

Definition: Forgiveness is a conscious, deliberate decision to release feelings of resentment or vengeance toward a person or group who has harmed you. It is an emotional and heartfelt process that involves putting aside feelings of resentment toward an individual who has committed a wrong, been unfair or hurtful, or otherwise harmed one in some way. Forgiveness is the release of resentment or anger, and it doesn’t mean reconciliation. It is vitally important for the mental health of those who have been victimized.

I think the keyword is RELEASE.  It is a letting go of a heavy emotion or thought that ultimately just weighs you down and makes it hard for you to move forward in life.  We often harbor resentment and anger to others, or a situation, and may not understand the bigger picture of the situation, or other points of view, that may have us realizing that our anger or resentment were not really justified.  Even though expanding our perspective may help us release the hurt, we will find that compassion is the balm we need to also remedy the situation.  Not an easy task, but truly necessary – for our own freedom on our path to well-being.  Here to help us is the Goddess of Compassion – Quan Yin.

Forgiveness does not just affect us personally, but also globally.  Forgiveness is the sacred weapon now.  Unity is the victory already written.  Our earth – long soaked in trauma – will benefit from the vibration of love within your heart – that will bring planetary peace.  Fear so often is behind the pain of resentment, anger, and vengeance.  Fear constricts.  Love expands.  Step back.  Breathe.  Center.  Let love expand from your heart and shift the frequency of the planet – bring freedom to all to be able to move into their higher potential, in love and light.

Quan Yin

Quan Yin is a Goddess of Compassion and Mercy and ascended master.  She works alongside Mary Magdalene, Mother Mary, Lady Nada, Isis, and Athena in bringing Divine Feminine energy to the world to achieve balance and harmony.  She works with the Pink Ray to establish love, compassion, an appreciation for beauty, freeing the heart with forgiveness, and to enhance with the lighter energies of creativity, joy, and playfulness.  She also works with the 7th Violet Ray of Freedom in this pursuit to bring peace to the heart.

Quan Yin’s etheric retreat is in the Temple of Mercy in the foothills of Beijing, China.

Affirmations:  “I ask Quan Yin to fill me with the Pink Ray of Love that I may forgive myself and others of any wrongs or hurts, and be free to heal.”

 MEDITATION: Stones of Forgiveness

You are following behind the pink flowing robe of the goddess Quan Yin as she leads you to a mountain lake.  The pink silk of her gown flutters aloft in the breeze in contrast to the heaviness you feel as you follow behind her.  She leads you to a small boat sitting on the shore of the lake.  She asks you to check your pockets for any round stones there.  These stones represent issues that require self-forgiveness, and need to be released.

She asks you to check your right pocket first – that reflects issues concerning your male aspect – your work, activities, manifestation abilities, protection abilities, or any injuries to your male aspect.  How many stones are in your right pocket?  Pull them out one by one, get a quick snapshot of what they represent, and release them by throwing them into the lake or onto the shore.   You can ask Quan Yin for any insight into what each stone represents if you wish.  For you to be able to step into the boat, you need to cast away these stones so that it doesn’t sink.

Now she has you check your left pocket for any stones – that represent your feminine aspect – your self-nurturing, intuitive abilities, creative abilities, nurturing abilities, compassion issues, and any injuries to your feminine aspect.  How many stones are in your left pocket?  Pull them out one by one, get a quick snapshot of what they represent, and release them by throwing them into the lake or onto the shore.   You can ask Quan Yin for any insight into what each stone represents if you wish.

Quan Yin now asks you to take a look inside the boat.  Are there any stones in the boat?  These are stones that weigh the boat down and will prevent it from floating well in the water.  These stones are issues concerning forgiving others, or others needing to forgive you.  Take each stone out of the boat and get a quick understanding of what each stone represents.  Consult Quan Yin for greater understanding of what you are ready to release and why.  Then throw the stone into the water or onto the shore.  You can build something beautiful with your stones and be creative!  Once the boat is empty, take a seat in the boat with Quan Yin.  Take three deep breaths.

The boat glides away from the shore and takes you both out onto the lake heading towards an island.  You feel the relaxing waves of the water as the boat glides through the lake.  A quiet piece and lightness flows through you.  As the island grows nearer, you hear music and laughter.  The boat soon comes ashore and you both step out of the boat.  You discover that everyone that you forgave or they had forgiven you, is here on the island in a festive mood and a party is underway!  You all have been freed from a heavy bond.  Someone hands you both a cool refreshing drink and some of your favorite food.  Your favorite music is playing too.  There is great love, joy, and celebration on the island.  You realize that you all had been playing roles – like in a movie or stage play, in order for a lesson or awareness to be made.  Now that the “performance” has been accomplished, you are all colleagues again.  The person that played the role of hurting you, is now a loving friend, and perhaps had always been part of your soul family.  Your forgiveness in all its many aspects has also uplifted you into love and joy.  When you are feeling this is complete, you return to the boat and the mainland with Quan Yin.  You thank her for her insight and assistance, and return to your waking state.
